UTA indoor track and field team to compete with 14 other universities at Charlie Thomas Invitational

Junior jumper Alexus Henry goes over the second hurdle during the women's 60 meter hurdles indoor pentathlon Feb. 20 at the 2018 Sun Belt Indoor Track and Field Championships inside of the Birmingham CrossPlex in Birmingham, Alabama.

The UTA indoor track and field team will visit College Station for the second time this season for the Charlie Thomas Invitational on Friday and Saturday.

In January, the Mavericks opened up their indoor season at the Ted Nelson Invitational, where the men’s team placed third, and the women’s team placed sixth.

Back again, UTA will compete against 14 other universities, including Sun Belt Conference foe the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.

This meet is the second-to-last competition for the Mavericks before the Sun Belt Conference Indoor Championships on Feb. 24 and Feb. 25.
