UTA’s indoor track and field team continues its season this weekend at the Red Raider Invitational in Lubbock.

The Mavericks are coming off a solid showing at last weekend’s Ted Nelson Invitational in College Station, where the men placed third as a team and the women placed sixth among seven schools.

Aside from its next meet at the Wendy's/Pittsburg State Invitational in Kansas, all of UTA’s meets will be in the Lone Star State leading up to the Sun Belt Conference Indoor Championships in Birmingham, Alabama.

A dual meet against the University of North Texas is scheduled before the NCAA Indoor Championships.

The Red Raider Invitational will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday.
