A male student, 24, reported he was assaulted with an egg thrown by an unknown person at 10:50 p.m. Monday.
The male student, who was with another student at Greek Row, reported that multiple eggs were thrown from an older model white sedan occupied by three white males between the ages of 18 to 22, said Jay Tillerson, UTA assistant police chief.
Multiple eggs were thrown, but only one hit the male student, Tillerson said. No injuries were reported.
The student said he did not recognize the vehicle or anyone in it, Tillerson said.
UTA Police will increase visibility in and around the area, Tillerson said. If any video surveillance is available in the area it will be used as a tool in the investigation, he said.
