Graffiti that said “Mav Power” was reported inside the Maverick Parking Garage, said Mike McCord, UTA Police acting assistant chief.
The graffiti, which was believed to be in spray paint, was reported by a male UTA Police staff member, McCord said. It cost under $100 to remove it, he said.
The charge for the graffiti would be graffiti under $100, McCord said. The charge is a Class C misdemeanor, according to the Texas Penal Code.
A Class C misdemeanor is punishable by a fine no more than $500, according to the code.
The department is still evaluating if there is surveillance to be reviewed, McCord said.
