Graffiti found in Maverick Parking Garage

The graffiti, which was believed to be in spray paint, was reported by a male UTA Police staff member, Capt. Mike McCord said. It cost under $100 to remove it, he said.

The charge for the graffiti would be graffiti under $100, McCord said. The charge is a Class C misdemeanor, according to the Texas Penal Code.

A Class C misdemeanor is punishable by a fine no more than $500, according to the code.

The department is still evaluating if there is surveillance to be reviewed, McCord said.
