A male student was assaulted at about 1 a.m. Friday in Lipscomb Hall, according to the UTA Police crime log.

The student reported that his roommate, also a male student, made contact with the reporting student's face using his hand, UTA Police Capt. Mike McCord said in an email.

The roommate was issued a citation for offensive physical contact against a family member, McCord said.
