UTA’s Chi Alpha Christian Fellowship will welcome the University of Louisiana at Lafayette’s Chi Alpha Christian Fellowship with a bowling night Saturday.
“We are meeting at Bowling and Billiards so we can give the Chi Alpha Louisiana crew a warm UTA welcome,” social work senior David Hernandez said.
Every year, when the University of Louisiana at Lafayette has a Mardi Gras break, their Chi Alpha visits UTA’s Chi Alpha and other local colleges.
“They choose to give up their break to come help serve and do outreach on campus with us,” said Kelton Shipman, UTA Chi Alpha Christian Fellowship campus pastor.
The Chi Alpha Bowling Night is 6 p.m. Saturday in the University Center Bowling and Billiards. Anyone is welcome to attend the event. For $3, students can enjoy unlimited bowling for the night.
