Students must have the game they want to play on their computer to participate. Super Smash Bros. 4 on the Wii U will also be available to play. Admission is $5, and snacks and drinks will be for sale.

Computer science freshman Andrew Hernandez said the event is about socializing and having fun.

“I prefer League of Legends,” he said. “Anyone can come though as long as they are a UTA student.”

Students can bring their own consoles or computers but are responsible for being respectful of other people’s property, he said.

A $15 ticket that will give access to all LAN parties this semester is also being offered.
