WATER BALLONS AND GRADUATION

1. 2. Graduating students lined up Monday in the UTA bookstore to sign up for graduation announcements. Students can sign up for invitations, cap and gowns, photos and class rings today from 3 to 7 p.m. and Wednesday and Thursday 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. (The Shorthorn: Ashley Bradley)

ACES AND LEADERSHIP

Communication professor Brian Horton and music professor Scott Pool judge posters at the Annual Celebrations of Excellence by Students event Thursday afternoon in the Palo Duro Lounge.  Participants were given awards based on both oral and poster presentations.  Presentations and judging went on from 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. (The Shorthorn: Ben Ohene)

DANCING, DRESSES AND DEATH

1. Criminal justice freshman Jenny Nguyen practices a dance routine on Tuesday in the Maverick Activities Center. Nguyen practices her routine in preparation for future auditions to both Asian Student Association and Filipino Student Association dance groups. (The Shorthorn: Richard Hoang)

2. Theater sophomore Beth Dahl measures a vintage dress Tuesday afternoon in the costume studio in the Fine Arts building. The dress will be used at Theatrefest on April 19.  Theatrefest is an annual student-run event that consists of three One Act plays. The showcase will be held in the studio in the Fine Arts building. 3. Two of several birds lie dead Sunday afternoon between the Chemistry and Physics Building and the Chemistry Research Building. The exact cause of the their deaths is currently unknown. (The Shorthorn: Michael Minasi)
