CHAMPAIGN, Ill. — The Movin' Mavs lost to the University of Alabama in the semifinal round of the 2019 National Intercollegiate Wheelchair Basketball Tournament on March 15 at the State Farm Center.

UTA trailed Alabama for most of the game, with Alabama outscoring the Movin' Mavs 37-21 to close out the first half. 

Alabama closed out the game with a 75-59 victory, ending the Movin' Mavs' hopes of claiming a second national title in three years. 

The Movin' Mavs will play in the third place game of the National Intercollegiate Wheelchair Basketball Tournament against the University of Missouri at 8 a.m Saturday.
