On any given day people would assume it was a class going on in Engineering Research Building Room 103, but the noises from Call of Duty: Black Ops II made the point Monday that engineers are not all about books, circuits and codes. The Association for Computing Machinery organized a gathering on Monday night where students could come in and play video games. Gaming Night was a part of the ongoing Engineers Week, a celebration dedicated to the engineers’ contributions to society. The College of Engineering celebrates the week every year during the week of George Washington’s birthday, considering the founding father to be the nation’s first engineer. The weeklong celebration draws to a close on Saturday.
