The Shorthorn has a few new things to offer to our readers this summer. Rather than printing our usual two issues a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays, we've decided to print only on Wednesdays. Because we've changed our printing schedule to once a week, we plan to focus much more of our attention to The Shorthorn Web site. As technology and the demand for quick and efficient news carries the media into a new playing field, we find ourselves adapting to new ways of producing multimedia to keep reader interest. We want to give site viewers more reasons to surf through our site, as well as more means to interact and participate. This summer you will see audio slide shows, more videos, a weekly newsletter that informs site members of the latest stories available on the site and other new, user-friendly effects. If there are any other elements you think would be beneficial to the Web site or would capture viewer interest, please let us know. Our goal is to do the best we can to deliver to our readers what they want to see and read. Until then, be sure to check the Web site daily for updates.
