Two artists featured in new exhibit, reception on Friday

The Gallery at UTA opened a new exhibit by artists Serena Lin Bush and Dornith Doherty on Monday, which will include a reception Friday.

Bush’s contributions consist of video images of simple gestures and gazes on projection and LCD screens imbedded inside mundane objects such as chairs and shoes.

Doherty’s work is created with various plants taken from a specific region formed into still-life pictures.

For information on The Gallery at UTA or on the exhibition, call curator Benito Huerta at 817-272-3143.
