Free Maverick Connection directories available today
The Maverick Connection phone book is available for the 2006-2007 school year. Students, faculty and staff can pick up the free guide between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. today on the Central Library and University Center malls.
The book provides numbers and addresses of various departments, divisions and colleges on campus and student program information. The phone book is courtesy of Student Congress and is distributed annually.

Theatre Arts presents ‘Bury the Dead’ at 8 p.m. Thursday
At 8 p.m. Thursday the Theatre Arts Department opens its second production of the year, Bury the Dead, in 137 Fine Arts Building. The play is directed by Kim LaFontaine, theatre arts professor and chair. The play will run until Sunday, when it shows at 2:30 p.m.
The play depicts six soldiers killed in a brutal war. They want so badly to tell the world about the dishonesty of the war, so they attempt to rise from the dead and join their living family members but face the reality of mortality.
Tickets are $5 for students, senior citizens, faculty and staff and $8 to the general public.

UTA Volunteers hold New
Orleans trip interest session
UTA Volunteers will be having a New Orleans Winter Break interest session at 5 p.m. today in the Blanco Room in the University Center upper level. Where and when the trip will be held, methods of transportation, activity lineup and costs will be discussed.
The session is free and open to all.
