Organization member Sid Madathikunnel, an English sophomore, called the event a good way to get to know people around campus. “It is a mixer on behalf of the University Catholic Community, kind of like a socializing thing,” he said. “We are going to try and do this every semester.” Get-to-know-you games, food, drinks and possibly karaoke will be part of the event. “We will have lots of icebreakers,” Madathikunnel said. “We want to recruit and let everyone get to know each other. Make a friend, join the family.” She said everyone is invited, regardless of religious denomination. Future club events include a seder meal April 1 and a bake sale from 9 a.m. to noon April 9 on the Central Library mall. For more information, contact the organization at 817-460-1155. — Ray Edward Buffington IV Views: 232 | E-mail
