Students who haven’t gotten tickets yet for the Maroon 5 concert, might still have a chance. The sold-out Maroon 5 concert will be held Friday in Texas Hall, but recently the exclusive UTA event has seen ticket sales surface online. The show sold out in a little over a week earlier this semester, and about nine ticket ads are floating around the Internet as students are putting tickets up on Craigslist. Mike Taddesse, University Events assistant director, said that while that situation isn’t ideal, he definitely understands the predicament that ticket-selling students could be in. “This is the first time we’ve had the concert so late in the semester,” he said. “With it being the week before Thanksgiving and the fact that we sold the tickets so long ago people probably can’t go.” He said students who have had tickets stolen should report it, as it is the only way to prevent the resale of stolen tickets. For those who have their tickets, the Maroon 5 concert starts at 7:30 p.m. with Fitz and The Tantrums opening the show. Views: 425 | E-mail
