EXCEL Campus Activities’s PostSecret event has sold out, according to the PostSecret Web site. Last Thursday, 336 of the allotted 950 tickets were still available to hear the New York Times bestseller Frank Warren speak, said John Hillas, Student Activities assistant director. Warren began PostSecret as a community art project where people anonymously sent in secrets on decorated postcards. As the project grew, Warren began posting the artwork online. Warren publishes a new set of secrets every Sunday on the Web site, which has been viewed by almost 300 million people. Warren’s stop at the university is part of his book tour to promote his latest effort, the fifth and most recent New York Times bestseller, Confessions on Life, Death, and God. Other stops on the tour include Michigan and Pennsylvania State University. The event will include a multimedia presentation, Q-and-A and a book signing, with copies of Confessions on Life, Death, and God provided by the UTA Bookstore. Views: 459 | E-mail
