Volleyball is coming live from Texas Hall tonight as the Cowgirls (8-13, 4-5) pay the Mavericks (5-19, 1-9) a visit in a Southland Conference matchup.

Since their last win, which coincidentaly happens to be at home against Central Arkansas on Oct. 17, the Mavericks are 0-3 since then which include two 0-3 set sweeps.

Comparing the two teams statistically goes as follows:

McNeese - .198 (5th)
UTA - .139 (12th)

McNeese - .193 (6th)
UTA - .240 (11th)

Kills per set
McNeese - 11.78 (9th)
UTA - 10.10 (12th)

McNeese - 1.97 (7th)
UTA - 2.05 (4th)

McNeese - 1.14 (10th)
UTA - 1.03 (11th)

The Cowgirls are led by junior outside hitter Chanel Tyler who is averaging 3.09 kills per set and 3.30 digs per set and senior outside hitter Alyson Jones with 2.83 kills per set. The Mavericks are led by freshman outside hitter Amanda Aguilera with 2.53 kills per set and freshman libero Alicia Shaffer's 3.31 digs per set.

For the Mavs to come out on top tonight, they have to limit attack errors and not allow the Cowgirls to sustain long point streaks in any set.
