Commuters heading east from Fort Worth faced a long wait in traffic on eastbound Interstate 30 Monday due to an early-morning accident involving a tractor-trailer and a SUV that closed all lanes at one point.

Outstanding leadership on campus will be honored at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the University Center Bluebonnet Ballroom. The Leadership Recognition Ceremony honors organizations, students and advisers for exceptional work on campus. Several awards will be given under seven categories.

Homer’s epic “The Odyssey” will be recited from 7 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. Wednesday on the University Center mall. This annual event is known as the “Homerathon” and is hosted by the Classics Club.
