Summer To-Do: Catching up on missed shows PDF Print E-mail

'Horndogs, the summer solstice may not have arrived yet, but more free time and 90-degree temperatures equals summer to me.
Now everyone has their own stuff - classes, internships, full-time jobs - but everyone needs to make sure to take time and enjoy the season.
So with the first of what I'm calling "summer to-do's," items that should help you relax and entwine as much as possible over the next few months, I encourage you to return to the tube.
Yes, there is a world out there not contained in the small screen. But... it's hot out there. Seriously. I'm not telling you to let the TV rule your summer living, just don't forget the wealth of entertainment that's there.
Most of the big shows are now in reruns after airing heavy-hitting season finales (if you missed "Lost," you're just... yeah), but there are plenty of other gems to see. This is the time to catch up on those shows you love but didn't consider must-see, or to flip to that niche show that weird guy in class was always talking about.
The networks are bringing out lots of new fare specifically for the summertime, but why not go with something that survived a year without you watching it?
So far I jumped back on the CW's "The Game," a show I watched a year or two ago since it followed "Girlfriends," which it was spun off of. Now "Girlfriends" has been canceled (without a proper series finale! But that's another blog...), so I decided to watch "The Game" in case it was killed too and ended up laughing harder than I expected.
